Refund policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
Plainserp is prepaid. You add money to a balance and each successful search takes $0.0003 from it.
What you are never charged for
A search that fails is not charged. That covers errors on our side, errors from Google, rate-limit responses and invalid requests. The amount is put back on your balance automatically.
Top-ups
- Money added to your balance is not refundable. Crypto payments can’t be reversed, and network and conversion fees make sending money back costly.
- Your balance doesn’t expire while your account is open, so you can use it whenever you like.
- Deleting your account gives up any balance left on it.
When something goes wrong
If any of these happen, message us and we’ll put it right by correcting your balance:
- you paid and your balance didn’t go up within an hour;
- you paid less than the invoice amount and weren’t credited for what you sent;
- you were charged for searches that returned errors.
